Replacement Scuttle Panel

Hi there,

I had seen a post on Facebook stating that you could purchase a new replacement scuttle panel with the VIN Stamped direct from BMW. Reg is F784 NPM

I was wondering if this is possible and what the price would be.

The panel is still available and will cost £158.35 inc P&P to a mainland UK address.

I must warn you in advance that the VIN stamping will not be in the same place as the original and also will not look like the original
either as the original tooling used to stamp the panels no longer exists, this is what the note on the panel part number says.

"PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS WILL NOT BE STAMPED IN THE ORIGINAL POSITION AS THE TOOLING NO LONGER EXISTS AND THERE WILL PRIMER CHIPPING AND CREASES"

Once ordered it cant be returned as it is a bespoke item once it is stamped.

Most people we have supplied dont like the way it is stamped and just use the new panel as repair sections and cut out what they need?

As it is a chassis specific panel it has to be stamped, BMW UK will not release a panel without it.
