Reg H767 XMV, that is the number on the side of the AC compressor, not sure if there is another alternative part number?

Thanks, Jon. Conversion to R134a has been done by Munich Legends but the belt wasn't on the car when I got it so had the belt/conversion/leak test and regas as a starting point. Now the clutch is slipping and sounds like it is grinding so needs a replacement. At that price I may be tempted over a rebuild but will let you know.

Hi Jon,

The AC compressor you mentioned, does it state whether it is a Bosch, Behr or Seiko Seki unit? The current one is a Seiko Seki but I think the bracket will be different if it's a Bosch. Is there a oart number listed for the bracket at all?

Which bracket do you need, the mounting bracket or the one used to adjust the belt?

Mounting one potentially if I the new compressor isn't a Seiko Seki.

Hello

The part number of the compressor is 64 52 8 385 712 it does not list the maker, the bracket is 64 55 1 721 586 and does not say it is specific
to different makes of compressor.

If you wanted to replace just the clutch on the end of the compressor you would need to know the make.
