Hi does anybody know if you can use z1 280 mm rear discs and e36 rear callipers on a 4stud e30 ? I know the calliper is the same as the one used on the z1 with the 280 mm discs it is just the carriers ????

No there are two types of Z1 calipers and disks. The latter (e36) type does not fit as the offset is different

Can the offset be changed via an adapter plate or machining of the carrier if it is not much or do you know of a calliper that will fit ?

I am sure it can be done with washers, longer bolts and spacers etc
