Hi, Sorry about the description.
What I'm after is the little cloth "bag" or cover, that covers the horse-shoe opening mechanism (rod and lever) and stops them fouling the hood material. Parts 2/4/10.
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do ... g=54&fg=10
This mech is the one located against the back wall of the roof storage compartment.
Unfortunately, I cannot find the drawing to quote the part number.
Supply and postage, please?!
Many thanks.

Hi There
I'll be honest with you I have no idea what item it is you want, but all folding top items are either listed on section 54 or 41 on real oem, the only thing I can suggest is to have another look and see if you can see the part listed
Sorry
Brett

Hi Brett,
I've posted a request for a pic. I've seen this on the forum, so hopefully will link to a pic shortly so that you can see what I'm after. It does exist

I've looked on RealOEM again, and can't see the bit I'm after. However, I know it's available. Having bought from Cotswolds I know they are are good, and it saves me a trip to the dealers - I'm a little lazy that way..!

Hi. Bmw have come back to me and said because they have now stock they can't check what it is made of, also Germany are showing them in stock but are unable to check with them. Perhaps order them and see if correct but the only thing with that is they would be none returnable. Give us a ring on 01242 257999 if you wiuld like to do this. Thanks.

Hi Paul,
I'll order, but I don't want something that isn't correct without being able to return it. If you can establish that this is a material cover, I'll place the order.
Many thanks.
