Throttle cable

Just noticed that the throttle cable on my 1987, 318i is badly frayed. Not been able to source anywhere so far and don't want to be stranded at Classic show next Monday! Any ideas for quick supply and fix. Thanks, IK

i know this isnt going to help, there is no stock with any dealers in the UK and BMW UK have no stock so this need to come from Germany 3-5 working days
