hi,
my son,s 1990 325i touring has been off the road for 7 months waiting for a new offside front back plate from bmw. i got a nearside one after five months. but bmw keep putting the expected delivery date back. can you help? will a backplate from a later model fit ? even if it requires "fettling"
The lesson i learned from this is, never dismantle until you actually have the new part.

We are a BMW dealer so have the same issues, there was only ever 1 part number for the E30, BMWs latest ETA is into Germany 15/2
