Thanks for your help but I'm pretty sure I've bought these in the past for a few pennies

Where the price is more like 20p +vat -has the price gone up by 10x? Fair enough if they have like but I just want to make sure

i have had a look at the movements and it looks like there have been 3 increase in price since your last quote also the VAT rate has changed
