drivers door lock repair kits

Can anyone help with a drivers door lock repair kit for an F plate touring with the usual deadlocking ball bearing ring problem, mine has had a section of the ring broken away.
I have read conflicting reports as to whether as a retail customer I can buy this from from a BMW dealership. Is this one where I have to take proof of ownership thus preventing a mail order?

if its just for the barrel and tumblers to make up yourself we will sell without proof of ownership, its only items that we have to order from BMW that are chassis number spasific that require documentation

F745PHK is the reg. number, it's a 320i Touring, i take it you can get the details up on your system, if you need a vin number...the car is outside. Thanks

should have clarified it is the "build it up yourself" kit that i am after so that i can keep the one key. If you do need the full vin number I can go and get it from the car.
