seals in the m20b25 cylinder head

not sure what they are called but they are here arrowed at the fornt of the head...



how much are the seals? i think there are 4 in total (2 at the other sned of the head)

also, my rocker cover is about 4 weeks old. do i have to change it if i take the rocker cover off?

You should not have to change the rocker cover if it's that new. If you ask your local dealer for them they are quite cheap.

If the rocker cover gasket is damaged it should be changed.The 'half moon' seals are pennies from the dealer and are best fitted with a smear of grease.

the plugs in end of head are £3.60 for the 4
the rocker bracket is £0.90
rocker gasket £11.91 IMO i would change it
is the other arrow pointing to the oil pipe if so £37.89

Speaking from my own experience, after trying to re use a 1 week old rocker cover gasket, I would never try to again

cool mate. its only the seals in the end of the head i wanted. its a photo copied form the wiki section.

are the plugs in the end of the head (under the rocker cover) and the rocker cover gasket kept in stock?

gasket is in stock but we only have 3 plugs in stock, they are avalible at BMW so 2days max to get to us
