Quick question/info request

Hi guys

I'm wondering if you can tell me if the following diff cover will fit a typ 188 medium case diff please

Part number on the casting ends in 1 210 433
It's been alledged thjat its an ex touring car diff, but i'm unable to find any diff covers ending in those numbers

Hi Dave

the only case covers i can find close are

1210431 E30 M3 which is the TYP 188
1210434 E28 5series and E24 6series
1210437 E23 7series

I will email BMW and see if they can cross ref. it but they will need a chassis number

This is the cover

I don't have anymore info other than it came with a 75% LSD from Moseley motorsports.
That's all the info i got when i acquired it

Could it have been a BMW Motorsport item?

just as i thought BMW UK have no record of this but they can check with Germany but need the VIN number
