After reading a project thread I'm now after the temp switch from an E31 8-series (E32 7ers use it as well) ECU cooling case. It switches at 44 degree's. (simple 2-pin on/off temperature switch).
Also what ever plug connects too it and the two wires.

can you confirm what the temp switch operates?
as for the plug BMW dont list them on there parts catalog so we need to email them with any numbers of the plug, colour of the plug and layout but with only 2 wires its pretty straight forward
