As per title, was wondering if the wiring that goes from the Map light and connects to a power source in the car is still available new, and if so how much. Or alternatively if you could just tell me where it connects.

Thanks.

:D

Hi there unfortunatly it doesnt seem like you can get the loom seperatly for the interior mirror, it looks like it may be part of the original loom in the car.
If you have any more queries please feel free to contact me thanks Travis. :)

Travis im not contradicting you but it is definately a seperate loom for the mirror
As to wether it can be bought seperately is obviously another matter.

Aceraf, the mirror loom plugs in behind the N/S/F footwell speaker.
Small 2 pin plug.Cant remember the wire colours but itll be obvious when you find it

Do you know if there is any other wiring on the car that uses the same wiring plug?

I was just wondering if someone who's breaking their car could take it off their car and i could use it for this.

Not sure to be honest mate but id imagine so.
I fitted a mirror with the correct loom the other day and it had the part number label still attached.
Sorry to say I didnt take note of the number and no way am I taking it all back out :?

Hi There I have had another look on my system and we are a bmw dealership and it doesnt look like you can buy the loom seperatley, Part of the loom only comes with the mirror and the rest you cant buy seperatley.
sorry Travis.
