I've bought new shockers for the front and when come to change them i've found that the last shocker insert was held in with expandofoam (SP).

So now i need new casings, think there also known as struts

could i have a price on these please, front 2 sorry

Are the threads on the top of the leg knacked?
E34 x 1 - V8 + lots of CF
E30 x 2 - Tourings (1 x M50, 1 x M40)
RS6 C5 - Stage 1 remap - 500bhp

I would suggest going to a scrappy as oem from me £355 each

who ever gave you that price for the pair I'd hold them to it as they are in actual fact £444 each at retail from BMW.

This car is seeming to be more expensvive thatn i thought :x

can u not just dissolve the foam screwfix sell a liquid for that purpose. be cheaper for you

They are expensive because as the car has been out of production for 15 years or so, the cost of producing items in a small quantity for out of production cars is unfortunately huge.

another example the plastic heater surround panel for the E30 with OBC is £95 for RHD drive cars and £180 for LHD cars :clin:
