Was on the phone to my local stealers today ordering a few silly clips & springs needed for the rear brakes.

Thinking as everything else on the rear axle is going to be brand new I asked the geezer out of curiosity how much rear calipers are.

£200 each!!! 8O

Oh how I laughed

So I made off with my £3.50 order instead

I can't remember putting this thread in the parts section  and no disrespect is meant to our residents parts crusader Paul

I've become accustomed to high parts prices with running the soarer, i.e. £300 for a rad, £200 per lower wishbone, £200 for a set of plug leads etc etc

I wasn't expecting much under £100 as I was aware GSF do them for about £60 exchange, but £200 with the vodka & tonic seemed like robbery.
