Don't know whether or not anyone has mentioned this before, but the One Series coupe, does it remind you of the E30 from certain angles?

I keep looking at it and think to myself that this is what the 3 series should have been rather than the more curver and overweight E90/93.

What are your thoughts?

It's been discussed a few times previously on here. It's better looking that the hatch, but thats hardly something to boast about. I just don't like it. The rear must have been designed in the dark. They do drive nice though and the 135i must be stupidly rapid.

The new 3 Series coupe though is stunning in the metal. Sleek, subtle and lovely lines. It makes the E46 (still a very nice car) look very old hat. Yes, its gets bigger with every generation but it needs to. Its aimed at the exec market who wouldn't tolerate the cramped interior and occasional low rate trim in the One.
