I have A BMW 728i on A Y-plate 2001 I believe and comes with triptronic option. The problen I have is when you push her A bit after A while on the dash you get "transmission failsafe" or something and she wont let you push her. Drove her steadily from the west of Ireland all the way to South London reaching A ton smoothly and this transmission problem didnt occur?
Any Ideas?

Sounds like she's gone into "limp home" mode and really needs plugging into some diagnostic software. Low fluid levels can cause problems on these. Has the gearbox oil and filter ever been changed? BMW says these are sealed for life but what oil lasts forever?
