Well I am a sick boy who do this but I have order a performance camshaft from Cat Cam to my 735iA E32
So my plan is to plane and polish the head and fit new rockers and valve springs + a new chip to the Ecu
Are there other things I need to do as well?

To make full use of the camshaft, a good exhaust system, maybe including a header, and then something on the induction side.

Also why not go for a remap instead of chip?

I will keep the exhaust manifoild standard, I need all the torque as possible because its an 1800 kg car!
To remap the ecu is unpossible because its to old....

On a big heavy turd like a 735 , especially an auto a 'lairy' cam will often do little except give you a crap idle, heavier fuel consumption and move your power band up the rev range. Effectively making the car slower at lower speeds and in normal driving ! :(

The Cam is only for sport, its not a race cam!

It can be re-mapped...... they use a map-able chip in place of the original (like a writing to a blank chip), and make adjustments while the car is on a dyno
