I have in the last days tought about if it is possible to convert my Beemer from Automatic to a Manual Gearbox...
How much job is it, and how much dollars are we talking about?

You have to install a manual pedal box, manual gearbox, and install all new gear linkages etc. If you have a workshop with tools and a bit of motoring knowledge its not that difficult.
Best way would be to find a manual one being broken somewhere and take everything from that.

Thanks, I have been ofer some parts fom an E34 535i M30 with a manual gearbox and maybe that will help me?

hi,ive just done my e34.i used parts from an unknown donor car.it would be much easier with a donor car to get everything from.i would imagine the535 box/flywheel/clutch will fit.you may have to have the prop modified.if your dash is the same as mine youll get the trans program message.i fixed this with some manual clocks.also youll need the console trim for the lever.i know the e32 and e34 are very similar so you might be able to use some e34 bits.everything just bolts in and the brackets/wiring is all there.check the diff ratios as well,mine is ok but some auto and manual ones are different..made my car much more fun.
