Hello, I will take my car to the Swedish MOT on Wed and I do think my front calipers are now done its duty after many years and 200.000 miles on the road nearly... So because I will upgrade the supspension with H&R springs and also get some Hella Smoke on it I have tought about upgrade the front Calipers to another brand, like Brembo or Tarox...
I wonder is an upgrage brake kit bolt-on? Can I also use Calipers from another brand, like to an ex Porsche or Audi RS?

Happy for answers, and the last how much will it cost?

The cheapest and really good is conversion to complete front brakes form E31 850i - single piston calipers, 324 mm discs. You can use front brakes from early E31 840ci - four pot calipers, the same size discs. On the top is set from M5 3.8 E34 or 850CSi - four pots with 345 mm discs, but you need 17" wheels to accomodate them.
With special adaptors you can use nearly any calipers but you need to fabricate them.
