im looking to fit a lsd to my 320i i heard the best 1 would be off the 325 sport which if i heard right would be 3.64??????? but would it be large case or small case

any help would be great

Pre facelift - 3.64LSD.
Facelife - 3.91LSD.

The 3.91 would be a better choice for the 320i.

And it would be a large case E30 diff.

It would be a 188 MEDIUM case diff
Large case diffs were fitted to the E34's iirc
Alpina B10 3.2L #187 (1 of 64 brought into the UK)

Small diff is a 168, medium is 188 and big is 210. Big difs where in all big BMW with bigger engines (i.e. in 520i was 188 diff).
