Take out a mortgage before you go to get petrol, and drive barefoot, it will lighten the load on the loud pedal!
I hope you've joined opec recently

First of all, congratulations with a new car!
I have had 7 series for some months now, its much older than yours and I would say that it have plenty of quality left for the age. Like some ppl say in here, it is a thursty car so if you do town driving you will be a good friend with the petrol guy at Shell...
Other thing I can mention is parking, I took mine to Stockholm for over a week ago and it wasnt so easy to find a spot for it in down town...
But drive it as a king dude!

E65's are superb cars, fantastic to drive. The 745i is very quick but the 735i is no slouch. It's a Valvetronic engine so will appreciate 6000 mile oil changes
Hard to belive these came out 6 years ago - still a stunning looking car and they're not Council yet. I love 'em.

That's why there are so many Councillors in Norn Iron - all with dodgy plates!

Lenny, make sure its had all the software updates and all the recalls done, there were a lot on the earlier E65 models.
Check the dreaded Bremi coilpacks were replaced too, they should have been done a while back......
Good cars these, apart from the CBS service setup, annoying dont quite cover it

Nice! I really like the pre-facelift E65, it has superb road presence. Its a shame BMW gave into the anti-Bangle brigade and toned it down for the facelift. The original will be an iconic design in a few years timelenny-d wrote:

Hi again lenny-d!
Lovely motor, they are huge and my old E32 will look a bit small compeer to yours but that is something with big Beemers. How heavy is yorus, mine show 1810kg on the veacle document?
I would say that it not so much recommended to take it to Dublin down town and park it there because I lived in that city for a year and even a Citroen Xantia is hard enoughe to get a spot for in that city, so Belfast is a better palce than who is not so crouded as Dublin.
Keep it clean and you have a lovely car who is nice on the motorways around N-Ireland
PS! If you see a Beemer in Ireland with Swedish plates, give me a flash with your lights because then you know who it is

thanks mate i'll probably be in the south quite a bit with work but i'm always picky where i park i've had a car vandilised(sp) because it was on northern plates
as for dublin i try and avoid it like the plague, when you see all the battered motors that are on 06-07 plates you become a very cautious driver indeed
