Strange desing on a BMW 735i E32 Rear Muffler

I bought this from a Canadian company called Stebro who is known for their good Quality and they make hell of a good exhaust sound as well!
But when I got it today the design on the rear muffler is a bit odd...
The muffler is made by stainless steel and will last for ever and I cant wait to get it on my car!
