The wifes E39 has been at a local BM specialists for nearly 4 weeks now they fitted 2 new fuel pumps and removed them, as the originals weren't faulty.

I took the car to the main dealer and two other garages and they could find the fault.

Honestly its been a major saga.

Here's the Mod need that Chris W mentioned to me.
Apparenty some dealers know of the fault but change parts that are not needed.

So if your thinking derv and bigger for a growing family. Be warned.
