I'll check it tomorrow in the workshop. Normally I'm just using GT1. :D

To reset the indicator:
-The car should be off
-hold down the left instrument button (the trip odometer reset)
-while holding the key, turn the ignition to position 1 (radio)
-you will see a test menu
-keep holding the button
-after maybe 10 seconds, the word "reset" will appear
-let go of the button and press again
-THe indicator is reset!

Think this is pretty much it, don't think it works on early e46's think the cut off is mid 2000

Any idea about the airbag light reset? Ours is on, think it might be wiring, so i need to fix the wiring, then reset the light to test...

the only way as far as i am aware of gettin the air bag light off is by putting it on a diagnostics computerwhich should cost £35 tops, if you are anywhere in sheffield i know a guy that can do it for £25.
hope that helps

Thanks. Not near sheffield.

A garage close by will do it for me for free. But its annoying trying to fix as i have to drive it over to get it reset before trying the next thing...
