To be honest I've enjoyed doing my e30 up so much Im getting bored of my E39 M5. I've got into tinkering as my wife calls it.

Im now thinking of getting rid of the M5 and getting another classic to mess about with and do up on the list of contenders are:-

A 1970s 2002
A late 1980s 635 CSi Motorsport
A BMW M535i E28

If you have owned or restored any of them any tips on which car is a pleasure to own and drive or tips wot what is best to give a wide berth much a appreciated.

Also if you think Ive missed a car off the list which would be a nice challenge please mention it... winkeye

needs a lot of work think I'll go and have a look though.....

Its not even running needs a new roof respray ,suspension everything I think the price is a bit high....

What would it be worth when done up?

That E3 Whipsey posted is absolutely gorgeous. :drool:
I like the "Batmobile" too, but if I had the choice it would have to be the E3 for me.
This is why I no longer drive an E30......

Its either 4 or 5 depending where you read about them

1 is un UK and is purple 8O
1 is in Thialand
1 is in Australia

E3 is the place to be, we have one at the moment going to made into a mean machine, we were selling one a while ago but was no one was interested in a resto project, but have got quite a bit of good interior whipsey.

most are waiting for parts, the fiesta van i have some xr2i bumpers to paint and fit, need the arches and skirts.
The convertable i need a few bits then an mot unsure what kit to fit to it still refurbing the wheels.
the touring i'm trying to source a sump etc for the m30 conversion
the e28 i'm talking to a friend about a possible v8 yank engine to go in there
and the kit car is going to be a complete rebuild as i'm ordering and waiting for tother parts i can move on to he next thing that needs doing on one of the others lol winkeye

The guys car i was going to look at 2morro has pulled out :cheese: ...... decided not to sell, why fecking advertise it in the first place :x
