Hi How do you check an alarm is working,as I locked my wifes car with the window open then stuck my hand in at the sensors and nothing happened.The LED comes on when you lock the car.Any ideas?

I am giving up as I have just had a look at the wiring behind the glove box
.Some mad man with wire cutters has been at it.
