are they just the same basic principle as the e30 to swap over??
i.e. remove the wheel, drop the arm and it should pop out kind of thing?

May need to release the local ARB link to allow it to drop that bit further else you'll possibly struggle a bit. Still have to virtually hang off it. If possible have a mate present to give you a hand there.
Good opportunity to have a clean out around the spring lower platform as it's a catch tub for dirt etc. Pull the arm/hub donward, wiggle the old spring out from the top and roll it outwards, reverse for inserting the new item. I've found it easiest to leave the upper spring rubber in situ as well mate.
