Finally got round to detailing the beast properly today. I could not go to Gaydon due to work, so spent the time I did have detailing the car ( and getting sunburnt )

Firstly washed with washing up liquid to start to get off all the old crappy Autoglym :?
Then gave her a going over with the Meguiars quick clay.
Washed up with some Meguiars shampoo.
Followed this up with some P21s paint cleanser to get rid of the swirls etc.
Then Zaino 1 polish lock, followed up by Zaino 3 polish.
Finally a coat of the Zaino gloss enhancer spray and wow !

Wow, Looks fantastic Mark.

Silver is notoriously hard to get a good reflection from and that is a cracking finish. :thumb:

Cheers Dave, I have had the stuff ever since I owned the red Sport, I have had just never got round to trying it...

Didn't take as long as I thought either which was a bonus 8)

It really shows how much the preparation is worth.

My tired old paintwork could use some of that love. Good effort. Too hot to clean black cars today!
