Got most of them pics on the computer!
Would i be right in thinking the 2 sprockets at the top are vanos?

Looks like the exhaust cams are gear driven by the inlets and the vanos gear is inside the sprockets

shame you won't be able to see anything other than a big boring lump of black plastic once it's in an engine bay.
why do all modern engines have to look so monumentally dull?

and it sounds even better than it looks! I would soooooo love one of these engines, tbh I dont think I would care what car it was in - just for the noise alone!!!

That's correct, same as an M60 except the M60 doesn't have the vanos.

Actually thats bullsh!t!!! The M60 has inlet camshaft driven exhaust camshaft, but it's via a chain, not direct gear drive! I should think more before I type, sorry!
