Anyone know of any good e46 uk based forums? Got some e46 questions as i've just bought one (pic's to follow soon!)
I would like to fit electric folding mirrors and need to know what is involved. Will the wiring be there already? Is it just a case of fitting the mirrors and the switch?
Also i would like to fit the oe wide screen satnav/TV, my car has just the tape head unit and 6 disc changer. What else is needed apart from the actual head unit itself?
E46 info needed!!!!!!!

I've been looking at the autofold mirrors for my 330d Msport touring, from what i can gather anything over an 2003 is a major job, but sub that could be a case of the wiring being the same and you have to change the mirror control switch on the door for that with the autofold button. (but not 100%)

firstly, your car needs to have electric memory seats. The mirrors and seat memory are controlled using the same module.
secondly, you'll have a lot of work to do, including getting the wires right 1st time, otherwise you rsik blowing a control module - £400 anyone?!
thirdly, when you get out of the car, you can push them in yourself....
