Hi, I realise it's not an E30 topic (I've tried registering with an E34 forum with no success...)

I'm trying to fit a new nearside rear window to an '88 E34 535i; having got the trim off, I'm finding the new glass (from an E34 in a breakers) very hard/impossible to fit :x

Has anyone tried/succeeded in doing this? Any tips would be appreciated.

Cheers!

Yeah, cheers, done that and got some very helpful replies. It didn't help that the breakers gave me a glass for a Touring and not the saloon - no wonder it wasn't fitting in right, doh!
