I wasn't overly keen on the E90 when it was first released, but the more I see them, the more I like.

E92's are fantastic! Very fast, quicker than an e46 m3 once moving, interiors are stunning and so comfy, noise is great. Yup i love em!

I think the sedan/saloon is the E90, Tourer is E91, Coupe is E92.
I Loved the coupe from the second I saw it, but the sedan took a little while, seeing that car in the link above has really warmed me to them.

Those are particularly good/flattering photos, but I've never been a fan of the rear lights myself.

if you like the look of them, you should drive one.... the best drive of your life!!
i done an AUC on a 2000 mile 330d auto M-Sport saloon in the summer last year. this thing was fully loaded, it had voice activation, sat-nav, bluetooth phone prep, full M-Sport pack (kit, suspension, wheels, etc), fully auto-air con, i-drive, you name it, it had it... think it was about 35'000 large, but they were doing a deal with some naggy customer for 28'000
it was silver grey metallic too
with black leather...
anyway, i done all the usual checks, filled out the paperwork and went on a 1.5 hour road test... oh me, oh my!!!
that thing was rapid... quite literally silly fast for what it is, and the way they handle is unbelievable, you just chuck 'em around and they love it, plant it and it goes, they're so responsive and the feedback is fantastic
i didnt like them at all when they first came out, but after getting used to seeing them and driving them, it makes them all worth while!!!

still not enough at times though
it is good to be fair, very good infact, its so smooth the way it deals with it its almost like it isn't there and the tyres are still gripping
but when its greasy and theres loads of grit down etc it can still be quite easily over powered accidentally even with smooth and fairly sedate driving, i suppose it provides some entertainment at least

very true, there is only so far you can go before the power is simply too much for the traction control to handle
still, it is the hieght of amusment, and its still an awesome car
if you buy one though make sure the sump is screwed in tight

How could anyone not like that e90 saloon, its stunning. I think the coupe is horrible though, It reminds me of the new focus cabriolet......Well the back end does anyway.

sorry but the saloon just looks plastic to me, especially the rear end and the clusters, reek of toyota bland saloon
coupe more appealing but my money would still go elsewhere, but the grunt of that engine in a 3 series must be quite humbling

IMO there is nothing else that is as good as the new coupe in its class.. Esp the 335i. Even the mags are saying it. Sport kit for the Coupe comes out next month also

Some of us can look out of the box Jon, I'd ditch the E30 in a second, but I'm a pennyless looser.

Still think the coupe and cabriolet is a dog, The back end looks like a friggin barge imo. Perhaps i will change my mind when the sport kit comes out.......And if i dont then, I definatley will when the M3 comes out.

Definately not my taste, but then I'm not even a fan of the E36. E46, 1 series and Z4 I like, the rest of Bangle's creations you guys are welcome to.
Would love to have a drive of one, but wouldn't love to have to keep looking at it.
A mate of mine borrowed a 320d for a weekend, he adored driving it, but he wasn't convinced about the styling either.

im sorry, but anyone who thinks the new coupe is a bad looking car needs there eyes sorting
that car is by far, one if the nicest, seekest, sexiest, most humble looking cars on the road, especially in the 335i form. those wheels are absolutely outstanding (the 5 spoke blade style) and the front bumper looks absolutely evil
nothing in its class can contend with it, not merc, lexus, audi, no-one... even the critics love it. bangle is a genius

I never said it was a bad looking car, it's just not my taste.
It must be a lovely car to drive, but wouldn't want to own one yet. Maybe in time it will grow on me more.

Agreed. I HATED the E36 when it first came out. Made me want to puke.
Now, I do quite like it, but I do still prefer the E21 / E30 styling.
Then again, I think the E46 is a beautiful beast, even the front end of the Compact...

Again, the E46 Compact had to grow on me, I prefer the later E46 front, but the Compact is acceptable now.
Would have a late E46 Coupe rather than the compact, and would prefer it if the Compact had the 'normal' front end, but that's only MY opinion... And as it says above my avatar, I AM a nutter...
