Only a light state of tune at around 40hp gain but this is one serious bmw and something that will hopefully start the trend of charged gasoline bmw`s !

Kevin Bird has had a 335 coupe for a while now, hartge are marketing a conversion, about 385bhp, its fast ! With the new M3 some way off he should be kept busy. BMW have been playing around with a test 335 at bracknell, they got 460bhp and then it pooed itself !

Would this hartage conversion be suitable to go onto a normal 330i SE from 2001...

No , it is based on the new twin turbo 335 which is a completly different animal to a 330. Ok , the basic engine may be similar but thay is it.

More importantly, would it fit in a 325i from about 1988? :)

the engine is all ally i believe. yes it is bi-turbo, unlike the 535d. two small turbo's doing 3 cylinders each. BMW reckon that the engine can easily produce and handle +400bhp, but they dont produce it like that, due to emissions regulations, cost, desirability, practicality, etc...

this car is amazing! if you havnt been in one, go do it!!!

Where did you hear that? I work for the Product and Test and Development Centre at Bracknell (BMW UK) and I have heard nothing about a 460bhp 335i, maybe they have messed about with one in Germany but not hear.
