If anyone is looking for a seriously good 635 there are 2 top examples on ebay at the moment. God if we werent completely raped out of it for insurance and tax ( €1300 tax or so) here i would be all over one of these like a rash. Such a lot of car for this kind of money. Plus the whole thing of paying 25-30% of the cars value on duty when you go to re-register it really gets stuck in your throat.
Check them out below anyway. Well worth a look.

Waterford, bit shocked by the taxes we have eh! Its shagging ridiculous.
Jesus you should have bought that one for a grand, they are so undervalued at present its not funny. i had one for a while that i just sold, turned a decent profit on it and it wasnt even a great one, think someone had fiddled the clock back about 40,000 miles or so as i found an old mot in the paperwork that looked like it had been changed around. Such a legend of a car.

Red car looks tidy ,but the seller is probably on drugs. Black car is a polished turd and the vendor probably sells drugs!, nasty council burger king rims, sh1te spax shocks, ecp spring kit, rusty wings and bumpers etc etc, Ԛ£2000 on a good day and they wont be my dollars ! :)

Yeah i didnt get that at all either, who cares if someone see's your bidding on it! Dont think it will make much more than it's at at the moment.
Just dont like grey leather though, i dont get why it waas so popular and so many people seemed to get it in the late 80's early 90's.

Ok guys here is the best one so far, and probably the best that will be seen. It's absoloutly class when something turns up in this kind of condition with these miles on it. Check it out. Roll your sleaves up for this ripper!

Still damn smart mind.

What do you guys make of this, good value or not. looks pretty good to me, and a winning colour combo. When did they finish making the m version of these as they all seem to be 1986.

If you want an irish reg M6 you haven't really got much choice. M6s were available virtually to the end the 6 series production run i.e '89/'90. The last 100 or so being highlines with the extra cladding around the bumpers etc and the full leather trim. M6s can be bought from £1000 upwards but that would usually be a complete shed needing £15000 spent to make it into a £6000 car. Buy the best one you can afford, a cheap 6 series is usually a trojan horse.

I would imagine most Irish 6's are packing a 2.5Di Yorkie diesel and have been involved in a bit of trade, usually involving tarmac.

Diesel Joe fitted a nissan 2.8 diesel to a 635 i sold him about 10 years ago, the engine had previously lived under the bonnet of an e23
I think both cars ended up as chicken sheds in roscommon, but the engine lives on in an E34 ! :)
