E34 M5 Tyre sizes???

Hello all, just wondering if anyone knew the tyre sizes for the E34 M5 (3.6)? Front & rear if possible?

Rears are 255/40/17 (on 9" throwing stars).

indeed, werent they used on touring and later 3.8's tho?

Later tourings and 3.8s had the M Parallels (18").

The 9" rears were an option on all cars that came with 17" wheels (both turbines and throwing stars). Both of my 3.6s were specced from the factory with 9" rear rims and 255/40/17 tyres.

You also received the 9" rears as part of the 'Nurburgring' option.
