Without going stupid , what is recommend for this engine?

I run Castrol Edge 5-40w in mine.
Can't remember what spark plugs I fitted without digging out the invoice.

NGK BKR6EK is what I use on pretty much all M52/M54 engines, even fitted some to my brothers transit, great plug
