Hey chaps,
I'm on the look out for an E32 and have come across a pretty solid V12.
The seller has mentioned that the engine needs the throttle bodies cleaned to run properly.
Is this a known fault with that engine? Or is it likely to be something catastrophic, being passed off as a simple fix?
I'm not very tech'd with the bigger engines.
Are there any problem areas that I should stay away from with the V12?
Thanks in advance

Common problem they are fly by wire not cable, either be Bosch or Siemens but it's likely they will need replacing rather than cleaning

I am guessing the A/C just needs a regas / fuse

An old E32 750i with problems? How fast can you run? This was BMW's first attempt at electronic FBW throttles and they were a lot of aggro.
