After owning various E30's i've now defected to the dark side and bought an e46 330ci M Sport Convertible. The cars got a great Spec, full leather, M Suspension, TV, Harmon Kardon, Carbon Trim, HL Wash, Elec Mem seats and it came with the Hardtop as well however it also came with 176 k miles no undertray or forward front w artch liners, and Traction light, washer light, engine light and various other issues except rust thankfully. I've cured the Traction Light by fitting two good sach's struts that match unlike to sport/non sport ones that were fitted and doing the tracking, the washer light by replacing the bottle and fitted all the liners trays as reqd however despite changing the AFM, Lamba sensor, rocker gasket, fuel filter and rubber connecting pipes on Fuel filter , full service etc i now have the dreaded lean on both banks errors , which kick the light in after about an hours driving. My next tranch is likley to be replacing the crankcase breathers under the inlet and any vacuum hoses that look weak & fitting a DISA Valve repair kit as not only is the engine mgmt light on but the fuel consumptions horrendous. Does this sound like the right things to be changing ? ( the lower intake pipe has been visually checked and looks good. Any advice gladly accepted ( except give up of course lol )
