I foolishly grabbed a set of mirrors out of the stash and got them painted in Alpine White II to go on my cabby. At fitting, I realised they didn't fit, they are too big.

There's a date stamp of "89" on them and a BMW part number of 1944 329.1 on one and 1944 328.1 on the other.

I had assumed they were from an E34 or possibly an E32 but after calling My local dealers today, they (realoem) can't match the part number.

I want to sell them but would like to say what they do fit.

Thanks.

That's where I got to but the dealer chat today didn't support my conclusion ?
