Took beloved's 325i out today and near papped my pants when changing from second to third as the back end waggled.

Further testing revealed that the back end twitches under moderate to hard acceleration, when rapidly backing off after acceleration and when changing gear up or down.

Haven't had a look underneath yet and there is absolutely no untoward noises from the rear suspension.

So I'm wondering if anyone on here has a suggestion?

TIA

Angus

Have similar issues on mine, but you only feel it when you're shifting hard.

Subframe + trailing arm bushes and possibly knackered springs/shocks worsen the whole effect.
