Have e28's got much of a following? do they break for good money?
Been told of a e28 520i which has been in a garage for 15 years which i have been asked to look at with the view of buying.

So say in good order, still starts and drives with signs of rust on drivers door - thats all i know so far

cheers

E28's break very well, assuming the bits are good and the car isn't a complete toilet. The engine and box are worthless as is a cloth interior - well, 50 a quid each if you're lucky.
The diff will be a medium case 3.91 or 4.1 depending on year - £150. Good bumpers are 100 quid each, working instruments £50, headlights, tail lights, bonnet, wings, uncracked dash, grilles, cylinder head etc etc etc.
I'm pretty sure I could break a 520i with above good bits for £7-800. If it's tidy it may be worth giving it a good clean and do an Ebay OHMYFUCKINGGODBARNFIND" advert.

Ha, Barnfind adds at least £500.
thanks for the reply - from chatting to the lad that put me onto the car, i suspect the owner thinks he's sitting on a goldmine

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.
