It's just had a boot floor repair using the best method of a reddish reinforcement kit and BMW foam.

Adverts like that saying its fully race ready grind my gears. It doesn't even have a roll cage.

With you on that, its miles off a log book. Your talking 3k at least to get it passed.

Is that an open airbox as well?

No its not an open air box. Its a Geoff steel racing CSL style air box which contains a BMC panel filter just like a genuine CSL one.

To properly repair the boot floor, you have to go inside the boot and cut open the top skin. This is to get access to where the big lump (that the retaining bolt screws into) is welded to the skin below - that's the bit that breaks off first - the cracks in the lower section are the result of this. Unless you re-attach the big threaded bit, it's not a proper job.
That guy who posted on a forum about how he dropped the axle on that 328Ci seemed to do a decent job.

That's exactly how you carry out the repair using the reddish plates and the turner Motorsport plates.

Winx and I have done two E46's for mates of mine using the turner plates.
