I`m driving E30, 1989, 325i, 4 door. Restoring 1990, 4 door.

If they're genuine e36 Bosch lights ( not compact ones ) you can adjust them exactly the same as e30 lights.
Remove the light from the car, remove the cover from the back of the dip beam. Undo the three Phillips screws, twist the entire bulb holder / back of the light assembly, then re- tighten the screws.
The beam is aimed by a metal mask inside the projector unit, exactly the same as facelift e30 dip beam units.
