Why do you think it's Scottish? OY was an Oxford registration.

On a positive note, at least the seller has a nice passage. The car is still dogshit.

So it has the earlier lights and grills. Big deal and besides, easily changed and was offered as an official retro fit from BMW.

That other turd is green with cloth seats.

Also, did you not read my post about the cars history?

No, the original wheels were boring,,,,

Boring to the point they were not wide enough to grip the road, cant believe they would fit such narrow wheels to a 540

The 17's are perfect for me, wider for extra footprint and a reasonable amount of sidewall for comfort 8)

No street cred given or implied :D

HOLY SHIT! Did not know they did that type of 16" wheel on an E39, usually seen on E36's but obviously not from an E36 as the centre bore is different.

Bet that was fun!

A 540i with 225's on the rear!

Is that worth looking at for a e39? Looking for a motorway cruiser but wife wants better MPG and more comfort than the e30 touring.

It will probably be scrap but if its local then its worth a look as its in a decent colour combo and has the sport kit.

It will be an M52tu and with the manual box is a pretty reliable combo. They will do the miles if looked after.

A grand is all its money though if its not scrap.

Would happily have another E39, but it would need FBMWSH for me to even consider it. Lovely cars.
