..extremely nice record producer chap (with an exceedingly pleasant girlfriend) bought it , he's had an E9 and a few other exotics so seemed well placed to look after the old gal. Girlfriend was into cars too, she wouldn't drive his Viva because she thought it was sh*tpacerpete wrote:I spotted it in edgy Hoxton a couple of Sundays ago. Foookin hipster cooonts !
Neil was that you on the evening of the 20th or the victim ? I was going to stick a note under the wiper, something to the effect of "Operation Yewtree is watching you" but a Sunday roast at Bacchus beckoned
PS The roast was rather ordinary and hardly sufficient to feed a growing chap like me, they had run out of lamb and all the deserts except the cheeseboard
Luckily some other pseudo trendy cooont was paying !

On the plus side, in the process of buying a place with a drive, so the £2K Silver Shadow dream may be getting closer to fruition

Clearly a girl of exceptional taste! Incidentally, I still have a load of E12 520 bits that I want rid of so if you are in touch with the new owner, let him know that he can have them - I don't want much for them as I need the space. But only if he brings his Mrs!rh306 wrote:..extremely nice record producer chap (with an exceedingly pleasant girlfriend) bought it , he's had an E9 and a few other exotics so seemed well placed to look after the old gal.
