330ci AUTO accelerator pedal delay.

Hey chaps,
I have an annoying issue with my car, there is a bit of a delay with gas pedal response when pressing it down. For example if already in motion i can lift off and coast then if i press it again it won't react instantly then the car jolts as if catching up to the throttle position.

Also when taking off quickly or hard accelerating it will jerk about a bit as if i were letting on and off the pedal quickly.

Might my pedal be worn out? Are these a potentiometer or hall magnet style pedal?

I think you should get a new pedal
