Has anyone here with real world experience of E92 335 which is generally more fun to drive the manual or auto ?

There quite lively, i went up against one a couple of years ago, iirc he did a 13.9 quarter



I remember the obnoxious owner bragging as we were in the queue saying "its got blah blah amount of torque, gets to sixty in blah blah, then come out with something like "looks like were running together, this should be easy"

Bet the coont had a shock when he could see me by the side of him
i got 14.2 on that run.

I've owned both an E92 335i SE and an E92 335d SE, both of which were autos. I'm generally a manual fan but I have to say, I loved them both. I lived in Germany at the time so used them 'as intended' on the autobahn. For me, the diesel was the best all-rounder, but that's not to say the petrol wasn't a great car either - just the torque and fuel economy of the 335d was amazing.

If the car local to you is a good one, then yes, why not go for it?
