I have a black head lining which in places has started to drift away a little bit and could use some advise on how to re attach the damded thing without removing it please.

Well if it is just coming loose and there is no rips there is any fabric glue you can find and use that 
when I was young I had a calibra witch the headliner was coming loose at the front I just used super glue in like 5 dots along the front witch held it there for over a year
