Morning Gents

I have an issue with my 91 e36 318i.

When i bought it the auto gearbox was not great, I put a new oil and filter in it and hoped it would help but it did not make a massive difference.

So at the weekend i ripped out the auto box and installed a full manual conversion. Installed pedal box, pipeworks, flywheel, clutch and gearbox etc.

It all has gone great. I have kept the auto level switch plugged in and is in park so that the car turns over.

The only problem is that it wont start. The fuel pump is not priming. I have checked the fuse (18) and that is ok.

I have kept all the autobox ecu and everything is plugged in as it shoudl be.

I have also checked that i have spark and can confirm that i do.

The car will start on easy start if you give her a spray but is just not getting fuel i dont think.

The car was running fine before the conversion.

Any help is greatly appreciated as am alittle lost with it now and am desperate to get it back on the road.

Not sure about the old M40 but the 2.0/2.5 won't power up the fuel pump relay without input from the transmission ECU. So, make sure you have 12v at terminal 30 (red) of the fuel pump relay. If not, power it up directly from the battery and see if it runs.
