can anyone answer this ebay question

Hi there Micky, you obviously know a lot more about beemers than I do. My question is this: I have a 323I 1997 convertible with a ZF transmission with the 5 ht 18 plate on the side...is yours exactly the same?....is the torque convertor the same as well?....or must I get one form a 323 (not your 328) to replace mine.
I don't know if there are different internal ratios or the ecu's are not compatible...
